As a national environmental activist, speaker and eco-living expert, Laura’s mission is to educate families, youth and individuals alike about the opportunities and benefits of earth-friendly living.  As one of the most influential women in the environmental movement today, Laura developed her passion for protecting the environment at an early age. As daughter of CNN founder and philanthropist Ted Turner, she saw firsthand how ecologically devastated many areas of the world are. Rather than leave it to others to address the problem, Laura grew up taking an active role in eco-issues from leading environmental voting initiatives to finding new ways to protect the Chattahoochee River. Confident Women is distributed to businesses in Central Florida, Volusia County, Tampa Bay, and now Atlanta and is direct mailed to homes in targeted zip codes in our chapter areas with incomes of over 150k!

2.  Verify your Directory information. Visit the WOAMTEC website today and log in to the member only section and verify your member profile information is correct. All profile updates need to be completed by June 30th. Make sure your information is correct!

3. Send us any images you would like to showcase on the WOAMTEC Out and About profile page, these would be images of your chapter members at a meeting or helping the community at a walk, special event, or other activity. Send us these images by June 25th for consideration.

4. Not a WOAMTEC Member yet? Join by June 30th, 2009 to be featured in the Confident Women Publication and share your business with thousands of women in two states! WOAMTEC is the premier business building group for women.

5. Mark your calendar- The next conference will be held on July 28, 2009 at Hilton Orlando Altamonte Springs. Fliers will be complete this week. Tickets go on sale Monday for purchase at the events page and will sell out fast. The last three quarters have sold out….so don’t delay! PLUS- 4 of the 12 vendor booths have already sold! Spotlight your business for only $225 and receive a 6 foot table, 2 conference tickets, and an infomercial during the program.
