So far the New Year has been exciting for WOAMTEC!

Message from the President

Jennifer Lee named National Training and Development Director for WOAMTEC! Life coach and co-owner of Creating Your Masterpiece Jennifer Lee has been named the national Training and Development Director for Women on a Mission to Earn Commission (WOAMTEC). Lee founded the Winter Springs/Oviedo Chapter of WOAMTEC and her Chapter is growing strong and soon to have over 50 members!

In her new role, Lee will share WOAMTEC’s vision as the group expands nationwide. This includes recruiting and training chapter directors.Lee held positions in sales coaching, management and training for 25 years before co-founding Creating Your Masterpiece with Leah Turner. Together, they are dedicated to empowering and guiding individuals and businesses to live their life pro-actively, with purpose and passion.

I am personally thrilled about Jennifer taking a larger role on our leadership team. She has always shared our vision of empowering women to achieve their goals while maintaining their priorities of faith and family, and I know she is the best choice for us as we expand this amazing organization nationwide. In the next six months, we plan to create new chapters in Tampa, Atlanta, Detroit and Washington, D.C. We look forward to growing with you. Speaking of WOAMTEC growth…..

LRA Insurance Professional, Debra Lampe launched her new Winter Garden/Clermont Chapter this past Wednesday and did an outstanding job! Debra launched her new Winter Garden/Clermont Chapter at the new beautiful Bella Collina. She had over 25 sharp, energetic business women present and is sure to have a terrific chapter. Due to the upcoming Confident Women Conference, the next meeting will not be held until Feb. 11th. Please come out and join us and help her chapter grow. If you have never been to this venue, it is a fantastic location. You really feel like you are in a different country. It is a great way to getaway and call it work!

Personally, my brother and I were talking the other day. We were discussing our economic situation, the new President and about Faith. We discussed something he had heard a Pastor say on TV. The Pastor said, “We pack our own luggage and if we are going on a trip that we have to walk everywhere, why do you want to overload what you can truly be comfortable with?  Take what you need and only what you need.” In times like these, many businesses have to stay strong, work hard, and focus on what really matters. Remember, at the end of the day, the only deposits that matter in life are the ones you make in the lives of others. Blessings for a wonderful 2009, have faith, work hard, and stay focused on the important things in life!

Kathleen Hawkins

President
