Danielle Simms New Atlanta Chapter Director

Danielle Simms will debut with 3 new Atlanta chapter Directors next week. Atlanta’s first WOAMTEC chapter debuts in Buckhead on Wednesday, April 22. Simms is passionate about empowering women. “I am encouraged by what WOAMTEC has achieved in Florida, and how its members are making the pieces of their life come together,” Danielle said on why she chose to bring WOAMTEC to Atlanta’s professional businesswomen. As the go to person for information on where to buy what within her social circle, she is excited about launching a new chapter, WOAMTEC’s national expansion, meeting new professional business women and helping Atlanta’s WOAMTEC members grow both professionally and personally.

Following a career in politics, including a position with Newt Gingrich and the National 4-H Youth Conference Center in Washington, DC, Danielle returned home to her native Atlanta to become an integral part of her family’s business, Barfield Legacy, a 32-year-old photography studio. Previously John Barfield Photography, the family decided to change the name to reflect the same quality and personal service Danielle’s father once provided on his own, now carried forward by the next generation. “I have worked in the studio since childhood. I am proud of what my family has achieved and I want to be part of that,” said Danielle. She also serves on the Georgia College and State University Alumni Board of Directors as outreach chair and on the advisory board of her college sorority.

“As women, we have bigger roles in our community than even we realize. It is very important for me to see women make the right choices.”

Danielle credits her support network, including Georgia Secretary of State, Karen Handel, for her personal success. The women in my life are such achievers; they are my inspiration,” she said. Through WOAMTEC, I can give the same advantage of encouragement I’ve received to others. Danielle, and her husband, Georgia Deputy Secretary of State, Rob Simms, reside in the heart of Atlanta where the couple embrace an active lifestyle and the cultural diversity of the city. Both Simms are passionate about politics and both are voters’ rights and community revitalization proponents. The Atlanta Buckhead WOAMTEC chapter meets bi-monthly at Buckhead Ruth’s Chris Steak House.

WOAMTEC -Women On A Mission To Earn Commission is a premier networking group designed to appeal to business women who are already successful and simply wants to grow more. It is not designed for commissioned sales people only, rather any strong female who wants to increase her company’s bottom line and overall revenue. We want to attract women who have achieved success and do not need to be taught, but rather have the knowledge to teach each other on a social and interpersonal level.

Our philosophy is not to compete with any other networking organization, but instead to offer a pure social, stress free networking atmosphere, where women can simply be women. WOAMTEC also offers a networking opportunity where women can focus on keeping their priorities in order of faith, family, and career without feeling guilty about it!
